Hi everyone,
Over the last eight weeks, I have been deeply engrossed in the CPA Capstone 1 module. For those of you unfamiliar, this is the second-to-last module in the CPA program, where students collaborate in groups of four or five to dissect, analyze, and provide financial and strategic consulting for a fictional business case.
Though the bulk of the work primarily involved various financial exhibits in Excel and reports in Word, the module also required a presentation towards the end. Given my recent completion of an Adobe Illustrator course on Udemy and my experimentation with brand design for Ritual, I thought it would be interesting to design a small brand package for the presentation.
About the Brand
To spare you the 65-page case brief my group and I have been labouring over, JR Pets is a Canadian pet store chain. Originating in the maritime provinces, it has expanded to Quebec and Ontario over recent decades.
JR Pets' distinguishing factor was its early recognition of the need for high-quality, healthy, and natural pet food. The founders, possessing varying levels of expertise on the subject, were thus able to amass a large customer base of high-income pet owners who view their pets as family members rather than mere animals.
As the company expanded, JR Pets also began to offer expert-level services such as grooming and dog training.
In addition to an array of natural food products and high-end services, customer service has consistently been a key aspect of why customers choose JR Pets.
